A Heart for Croatia relys on fundraising and donations for support. We are immensely thankful for support in any form.
For some this is simply praying for our ministry. We need your prayers. There are many people involved in this ministry. There are constantly decisions to be made. How should money be spent? Who should travel to Croatia? Which fundraisers and activites are most beneficial and the best use of our time? Safety in international travel. Health for both American and Croatian missionaries. Children and families who are touched by the Varazdin church. Open hearts for individuals, families, and churches willing to support financially. Clarity as we seek to create a Board of Directors who will work together to help our ministry become more effective and efficient. These requests, and many more, are what we ask you to pray for us.
Others are willing to support our ministry by donating their time and talents to aid in fundraisers and activities. In some ways these are the backbone of our mission. Without those who are willing to do the hard work of fundraisers, ministries like A Heart for Croatia are simply not possible. We are always open to hear new ideas and to add new people to our workers.
One of our goals for the spring of 2010 is to seek out other churches in Kansas who are willing to commit to 5 years of support for the Varazdin church. Due to the uncertain economic times, the Varazdin church has lost $1000 of monthly support from a church in California. We believe Christians in Kansas can easily make up this difference if we work together. If you are a part of a congregation that may be interested in helping in this way, please contact us. We would be happy to travel to your church and present information about the ongoing mission work in Croatia.
Finally, we seek the financial support of individuals and families. Already we have been encouraged by one family commiting to giving $100 per month in 2010.
